Digital Khora
THE BODY LANGUAGE 2024
Rome | July 12 – 25, 2024
international exhibition of photography, painting, video art, installation/sculpture and performance art, which will take place in Rome, at ITSLIQUID Monti – Rome Art Space
Digital Khora combines Plato's philosophy with digital art. "Khora" refers to the space where things arise. This work explores the creation and manifestation of digital art in a virtual and conceptual space. It refers to creation, an organic, pulsating mass that is in constant motion and change in a digital context. Digital Khora refers to the emergence of digital life and new forms when they become part of net.art and the creative process.
Free, Freed
Who is truly free? A person constructs various boundaries and barriers around their mind, often without even recognizing them. However, the chains created by the mind are real to their wearer. Humanity has created many structures and systems that restrict freedom in various ways, and they can be complex and multifaceted. Striking a balance between freedom and limitations is an ongoing challenge."

The artwork I*M blue evokes a range of suggestive and symbolic imagery through the visual elements of hands submerged in water surrounded by blue light. This piece can be interpreted in multiple ways, each rich with meaning and emotion.

I'm blue
I have tried to capture the interaction between the human body and water and emphasize the contrast and harmony of these two elements. The water's surface acts like a mirror, reflecting the hand and creating a symmetrical visual effect. This reflection adds depth to the image and emphasizes the connection between the hand and water. Light interacts with the water, creating highlights and shadows that enhance the sense of movement and fluidity. The water appears smooth and undisturbed except where the hand touches it, symbolizing the gentle and harmonious interaction between the human element and nature.

- The word "mastaba" comes from the Arabic word "مصطبة" (maṣṭaba), which means "bench." This refers to the flat, bench-like shape of the structure. Mastabas were ancient Egyptian tombs, typically rectangular with sloping sides and a flat roof, used during the early dynasties for the burial of royalty and nobility.
