I am visual artist from Finland. 

From Invisible to Visible:

For me, art is about making my thinking and understanding visible. It is the flow of the subconscious that emerges during the creative process, turning the invisible into the visible. My artistic approach stems from an inner need to speak through my works. I believe that art is a powerful tool to express feelings and thoughts that words cannot capture. People often reflect their own experiences through my art, creating a space of common understanding and connection. My inspiration comes from phenomena that are important to me on some level and that must be dealt with in order to move forward. Over the years, I have looked at common themes emerging from the world of ideas such as spiritual freedom, femininity, sexuality, female body, death, religion, myths and mythology. I have an inner compulsion to break the boundaries of my thinking if at all possible. 

My actions are guided by an inner compulsion to make my thinking and subconsciousness visible and thereby to complete and understand myself. 

I have been working with digital image since 1993. I hold a Master of Arts degree from the program in Audiovisual Media Culture. My specialization lies in digital image collages, as well as digital photography and image processing.
